1.) Cricket Inspired Menu at The Ivy St John’s Wood

In celebration of the cricket season and the restaurants close proximity to the Lord’s Cricket Ground, The Ivy St Johns Wood has added an exclusive menu inspired by the impending cricket season. The delightful new additions will be available until Sunday 18th August and include Pan Fried Beef Fillet, whole Dover sole and the LBW dessert, a melting white chocolate cricket ball served with blackberries, honey comb, popping candy and blackberry sauce.

2.) Savage Tea at Savage Garden

Savage Garden, located sky-high at the top of the DoubleTree by Hilton, serves up savage cocktails by Gorgeous Group and theatrically presented food, ranging from sharing plates through to substantial mains, feasting boards and injectable doughnuts! Two terraces provide 360-degree views of the London skyline including The Shard, Tower of London, The Gherkin and St. Paul’s Cathedral. The Savage Afternoon Tea presents sliders, tacos and ‘savage scones’. Available seven days a week from noon-4pm at £30 per person (£35 with a glass of Ayala Brut Majeur Champagne).

3.) Weekend BBQ Menu and Free Flowing Kingfisher Beer at Brigadiers, City of London

Brigadiers was inspired by the army mess bars of India, where military regiments go to eat, drink and socialise. Encouraging socialising and camaraderie, live sport is shown on demand in selected rooms, whilst pool and classic card games are offered for those who wish to play while they eat and drink. If you’re looking to dine alfresco, head to the terrace! Brigadiers presents traditional Indian barbeque staples at the weekends, including BBQ Masala Rack of Pork Ribs with Slaw, Wild Boar Rajma, Mixed Seafood Sizzler and Vegetarian Sizzler.

4.) The Koko Kanu Terrace at Granary Square Brasserie, King’s Cross

Granary Square Brasserie has teamed up with Jamaican coconut rum, Koko Kanu to transform its outside terrace into a tropical paradise with palm trees, vibrant flowers and fluttering hummingbird for guests and passers-by to enjoy all summer long. Four limited edition Koko Kanu cocktails have been added to the menu until 1st September, alongside a limited-edition dessert menu item, the ‘Coconut Panna Cotta’. Enjoy the glorious terrace and Caribbean cocktails daily or at one of the tropical brunch events this summer and visit on Saturday 27th July to see a live DJ and saxophonist performing.

5.) National Tequila Day at Ella Canta, Mayfair

National Tequila Day is on Wednesday 24th July and Casamigos have partnered up with Mayfair restaurant Ella Canta to celebrate. The ultra-premium tequila founded by George Clooney and Rande Gerber and the authentic Mexican restaurant are offering guests a mixology masterclass for one night only, hosted by Casamigos Brand Ambassador and tequila expert Natasha Iny. After creating George Clooney and Rande Gerber’s favourite Casamigos cocktail, guests will be treated to a pairing dinner where they can try a range of cocktails and a selection of delicious classic Mexican dishes including tamals, carnitas and churros. Masterclass sessions can host a maximum 10 people per session at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm, for £59 per person.

6.) The Brunch Collective at Flat Iron Square, Borough Market Area

'The Brunch Collective’ is London’s first weekly street-food brunch market, launching on Sunday 21st July (11am - 5pm) in the garden at Flat Iron Square (5 mins from Borough Market, SE1). Traders will include baking aficionados Little Bread Pedlar, fruit and veg based cleansers from Zip and Zing Juices and an outdoor service by Flat Iron Square’s on-site restaurant ‘Where the Pancakes Are’. Alongside the culinary delights, London’s independent record label and purveyors of the best in live music, Communion, will curate a selection of vinyl DJs throughout the day. Apres Lodge, one of Flat Iron Square’s on-site bars, will also host sessions with cultural collectives like Advaya Initiative, Poet in the City and Embers Collective.

Advance tickets are on sale here and are just £10 (which includes 1 dish), while a £25 ticket will get you 3 dishes and a drink (your choice of Coffee, Tea, Ketel One Bloody Mary or Ketel One Espresso Martini).

7.) Black Mondays at Black Roe, Mayfair

Mondays are notoriously depressing, so why not lift your spirits and enjoy a fabulously indulgent Mayfair meal? Enjoy 5 courses for only £29.50 and half priced cocktails at Mayfair’s deliciously decadent Black Roe every Monday. Dishes change weekly and guests will enjoy an array of plates, including Vegetable Poke, Seabass Poke, Yellowtail Tiradito Tacos, Octopus Katakuriko with Pumpkin Tempura and Passionfruit Ponzu, Churros and more.

8.) The Berkeley Bar & Terrace, Knightsbridge

The Berkeley Hotel recently announced the opening of The Berkeley Bar & Terrace, a beautiful new bar space designed by Irish interior designer Bryan O’Sullivan. Guests can expect a finely curated menu of exemplary rare wines, champagne and dark spirits in intimate and refined surroundings with a sense of old world glamour. The menu includes small plates with dishes such as Cornish crab and lobster beignets, Iberico ham toast with manchego, apricot and salsa verde, and camembert chicken tulips, alongside classic caviar and oyster dishes.  The bar is also home to an edit of fine cigars.

Opening hours are 4pm – 1am, Monday to Saturday. The Berkeley Bar & Terrace operates a no reservation policy.

9.) New Political Cocktails at The Blue Boar Bar, Conrad London St. James’, St James’s

To mark a turbulent political year, which has seen many ups and downs, Conrad London St. James' passionate team of mixologists at the Blue Boar Bar have launched a new menu of political cocktails, illustrated by political cartoonist David Lewis. Sample a selection of incredible cocktails including the 'No Big Deal', 'Maygarita' and 'Spiced Figrage'. Perhaps the 'Jeremy's Punch' or 'Dark n Tory' will have your vote, but beware of 'Boris on the Rocks', who knows what's in store for you there.

The Blue Boar Bar is open from 10:00-01.00 Monday to Friday and from 10:00-00:00 at weekends.
