I spend a lot of time scouring the UK for beautiful new restaurants, world-renowned chefs, talented newcomers, vegan cuisine, organic produce and seasonal, British food. In London, the restaurant scene is alive with the sound of innovative dishes, fun, themed brunches and unforgettable dining experiences. It was not hard to track down 10 excellent dining hot spots that are going to delight and amaze you this summer! Tried and tested. Bon Appétit!
1.) Saturday Frosé Brunch at The Perception Bar in the W London, Soho
The vibrant and lively W London have just launched a fabulous new bottomless Frosé brunch, available every Saturday. The menu includes six main dishes including; Salmon Tartare Burger, Poached eggs with Cornish crab as well as two delicious vegan dishes; a crisp Mushroom & Leek Quiche with Kale and Quinoa or wholesome Roasted Butternut, Smashed Avocado, Red Cabbage and seasoned Scrambled Tofu served on thickly-cut Sourdough toast.
You will be able to enjoy unlimited choice of prosecco or house-made frozen rosé and freshly made pancakes and waffles. 2.) Trishna X The Rare Tea Company Dinner, Marylebone
In celebration of the Chelsea Flower Show season, Trishna in Marylebone has transformed its front façade with a beautiful array of exotic flowers alongside launching its new Tea Garden collection of cocktails in collaboration with The Rare Tea Company. Trishna will be welcoming guests on Wednesday 22nd May to join them for a dinner with The Rare Tea Company where diners will experience the new Tea Garden cocktail collection, alongside a four-course curated menu.
From Sri Lankan Lemongrass to Nepalese Cherry Blossom The Rare Tea Company’s cold-brew teas have been blended with the finest ingredients to create The Tea Garden Collection. 3.) A Floral Transformation at The Ivy Chelsea Garden, Chelsea
This summer, The Ivy Chelsea Garden’s exterior façade has been transformed into a wild flower meadow in celebration of the summer and RHS Chelsea Flower Show! Guests who enter the restaurant will be greeted by a floral ceiling in reception, with nods to wild flowers throughout and within the al fresco garden space. There will be menu updates and two beautiful, limited edition floral cocktails will also be available.
The Silent Sparkle (£10.75) will feature Silent Pool Gin, ginger & lemongrass cordial, lime juice and Ivy Champagne, garnished with fragrant dried lavender, whilst The Camomile Garden (£11.50) will incorporate Silent Pool Gin, honey water & Fever Tree Indian Tonic, a spritz of camomile aromatics, kaffir lime leaf and orange. 4.) Brunch Chinois at Park Chinois, Mayfair
Park Chinois are offering Brunch Chinois, a glamorous brunch in London, available every Saturday afternoon. The Brunch Chinois is a three course Chinese meal from the signature set-menu, with a welcome drink on arrival – choose from a signature cocktails, beer or a glass of wine – and a half bottle of Charles Heidseick Champagne, per person, for £58. Club Chinois will swing open its doors every Saturday from 12 – 4pm, accompanied by DJs.

5.) La Dolce Vita at The Berkeley, Knightsbridge
This summer will see a little bit of Italy arrive in the capital as The Berkeley, Belgravia’s landmark hotel, creates ‘La Dolce Vita’, a lemon tree lined Italian haven on its roof. The hotel’s secluded garden and swimming pool will be home to the sights, tastes, charm and, of course, ‘amore’ of the Amalfi coast including Aperitivo hour complete with Bellinis, Aperol Spritz and Negronis.
La Dolce Vita at The Berkeley launches on 1st June, 2019 and will be open until September, 2019. Access is subject to availability and must be pre-booked in advance. La Dolce Vita at The Berkeley is open every day to hotel guests and visitors alike. There are two package options; four hour access to La Dolce Vita (the rooftop garden and pool, sauna and steam room) including a glass of Aperol Spritz is priced at £75 per person. 6.) ‘The Floral Spritz Collection’ Cocktails at The May Fair Kitchen, Mayfair

7.) Picnic with your Pooch with DUKES LONDON’s Gourmet Picnics, Mayfair & St.James’s

8.) Chelsea Flower Show Cocktails at Conrad London St. James’s
Conrad London St James' expert mixologists have created three delicious Chelsea Flower Show Cocktails. From 20th -26th April, Conrad London St. James will be offering guests a choice between the fruity 'Flower Fair', the 'Violet Bliss' and the 'London Blossom' all set to delight. 9.) New Cafe Bar in Sloane Place, Chelsea
Situated just off Sloane Square, Sloane Place is a boutique hotel and café bar, offering guests and locals relaxed elegance in a contemporary chic setting. The food menu carefully brings together sharing plates, hearty mains and indulgent desserts in an eclectic “Modern British” style. Bernhard Mayer, ex Executive Chef of the Savoy and Four Seasons Hotels believes in letting fresh, high quality ingredients speak for themselves, never compromising on flavour and always presenting dishes with care and attention to detail.
10.) A Culinary Journey from East to West at Stork London, Mayfair
Stork London is a new addition to the London scene (the restaurant opened in April). The story behind the restaurant’s concept follows the flight of the namesake stork on its journey from East to West; Eastern Europe to Western Africa. The menu’s global influences are collected along this journey, gathering taste inspiration and flavours from the countries in the Stork’s path.
Michael Adjovi Kalu and Nadina Grigoras the couple behind the restaurant, have taken inspiration from their own backgrounds. A west African and eastern European couple, they bring the concept of the restaurant to life. From successful tech entrepreneurs and wine developers, to restaurant pioneers, they want to share the love of their heritage and respective national cuisines with a wider audience. The kitchen and menu are headed up by Chef Adebola Adeshina.
