'DAPHNE'S PRESENTS' SERIES ARRIVES AT DAPHNE'S RESTAURANT, SOUTH KENSINGTON
‘Daphne’s Presents’ is an engaging series of insightful evening events, kickstarting with The Experts’ Guide to Cosmetic Beauty for 2019 at Daphne’s on Monday 4th February. Despite the best efforts of knowledgeable and well-versed beauty professionals throughout the decades, cosmetic procedures are still somewhat steeped in stigma. The panel of talented experts will attempt to dispel the myths surrounding cosmetic beauty and show a clear way to understanding an industry which could easily affect us all. This year’s events series coincides with Daphne’s 55th anniversary.
What to Expect…
Francesca White, Tatler’s esteemed Health & Beauty Editor-at-Large, will be leading the first event in the series on Monday 4th February. The dynamic session will cover a number of pertinent topics over a 3 course dinner including:
A holistic approach to cosmetic beauty
The issues that affect different skin types
How to manage skin as it matures
Modern techniques in cosmetic beauty
Products that work to prepare skin for aesthetic procedures
Addressing the stigma attached to cosmetic beauty
Hormones and their effect on beauty and wellbeing
Accompanying Francesca on the panel will be Dr Sam Bunting, a renowned London-based cosmetic dermatologist widely considered to be the beauty insider’s best-kept secret; Dr David Jack, one of London’s première aesthetic doctors; and Dr Martin Galy, co-founder of 23MD and a pioneer in bio-identical hormone treatments (BHRT) for the restoration of wellbeing and health maintenance.
The Daphne’s Presents series is Daphne’s own tiny version of the very best kind of Ted Talk, but with food, drinks and a Q&A session in the mix. Keeping everything in the Italian family, iconic brand MARTINI is joining forces with Daphne’s to support the anniversary series. The evening will kick off with a bespoke MARTINI cocktail on arrival at 7pm and will be followed by a 3 course set menu dinner, wine, water, coffee, tea and cantuccini, interspersed with a series of insights from the panellists and a Q&A session.
Price: £85 per person. Full pre-payment will be required up front.
