3. Golborne Deli, Ladbroke Grove
So there’s this little gem of a place called Golborne Deli. It’s just a stones throw from Portobello Road, so there’s heaps of competition lurking around. You’ve got to know how to stand out from the crowd, and boy, did Alex and George know how. Two words: the food.
An independent café, they’re extremely passionate about their food and coffee, using only locally sourced ingredients for their Anglo-Mediterranean dishes. It’s especially great for the caffeine lovers and gluten avoiders, as their coffee is sourced from sustainable farmers, and gluten-free peeps can enjoy the whole menu.
Aside from the food, there’s a few other highlights worth mentioning. It’s great for those sunny days where you’re itching to sit outside in the sunshine. The edgy wooden decor is a result of all their furniture being bought from local Golborne markets. On top of that, their staff will treat you like you’re breakfast royalty. Coffee served with a smile!
4. Daylesford Organic, Pimlico Road
Fresh, seasonal produce is delivered daily from the farm’s market garden, artisan cheese and breads from the farm’s creamery and bakery, organic meat from Daylesford animals – serviced by a real butcher; everything you need for your fresh weekly organic shop! The organic cafe on Pimlico Road is open all day, a place to eat, drink and relax with friends and family.
Daylesford Organic brunch favourites:
- Avocado on toast, soft poached hen's egg, sprout and shoots
- Buttermilk pancakes, spiced honey, autumn fruits
- Poached eggs Benedict, outdoor-reared Daylesford Gloucester ham, toasted sourdough
- Banana and 3 seed butter muffin
5. MNKY HSE, Mayfair
Sunday Brunch at the HSE is back! There's a menu and vibe but the same MNKY business remains. Visit every Sunday for the perfect blend of chilled London funk, epic music and contemporary Latin American 'brunch' cuisine. There is a brand new brunch menu, all with Latin spirit and a MNKY twist, of course. Think eggs, avocado toast and tortillas to start, followed by naughtier plates of pancakes, French toast and almond waffles.
Live music sets kick off from 12pm until early evening, so be prepared to relax, eat, socialise and enjoy the coolest vibe in Mayfair.
